The bramans distinguish their homes by blue roofs.  This is in Jodhpur and I am looking down from the Fort.

This is the Magrangarh Fort in Jodhpur.  You can see the damage created by cannon balls  The warriers in this region of India are known for their bravery and dedication to victory.   When a battle was hopelessly lost the men would go out and fight to the death of last one.  Prior to that the woman and children would burn themselves as part of the death-pact.  In one place in the Fort,  there were the handprint impressions of several women as they were throwing themselves in the pyre.

This is the Fort at Chittorgarth.

This is the city palace in Jaipur.  Most everything in the town is pink and it is called the Pink City.

This is the outside of the Hawal Mahal in Jaipur.
