Current water level of Qutang Gorge. Water level in 1993 was 95 Meters, it was about 140 M is 2004, starting June 2006, level is to increase to 175 M by 2009 or before, since construction is ahead of schedule.

Qutang Gorge, the shortest of the gorges is 5 miles long. Currents are strong here but cliffs are relatively not high. Some cliffs house caves that once held coffins of officers from BCE.
