During October, my sister Miriam was honored by the Jewish Federation for her years of service to the organization.  Among her accomplishements was spearheading the community effort to build a "safe house" for Jewish woman who are vistims of abuse.  The "safe house" accepts woman of all faiths.  I attended the event and took a few photos.
